Al parecer ya tienen suficientes voluntarios, me pusieron en la lista de "suplentes".

Creo que con 2 les basta y sobra.

Can I ask something? For the portuguese translation, do you guys have a brazilian or a portuguese doing the job? Because although it is the same formal language the uses of expressions are completely different.
I am a brazilian portuguese native speaker and I have at least decent english skills... I also think that each translation should be done by at least 3 people working together so that ways of saying things can be discussed and so on.

Lawmune 13. February 2008, 21:53

LuaCaron: there will be a team of several translators for each language. We will probably go with Brazilian Portugese first.

paulchanseaud 13. February 2008, 23:57

yeeliberto 3. March 2008, 23:21

When the list will be updated? Do you want me to start a email-list, so every member puts their user name and language?

lince 4. March 2008, 17:44

Yeeliberto: if you read the above comments by yuku and Lawmune, you'd learn that they are working on it.

yeeliberto 4. March 2008, 17:53

I know but it is takin so long.

Lawmune 4. March 2008, 19:53

We're in the process of getting volunteers added to the mailing list and then registered as members of this My Opera group. I have a master list of translators and their respective languages, but the list above will be updated after individuals have completed specific translation assignments. In the meantime, people can see who's involved in the project by visiting this group's 'Members' section.

pablorodrigo 7. October 2009, 04:33

Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if this is the right place for that, anyway....
I have been using Opera Browser for years, and I have to say it is the best browser ever. However, I couldn't find a latin version anywhere... Is there anybody here who wants to translate Opera to the language of Cicero. An addition of Latin to the list of languages would be wonderful!! Latin is NOT a dead language since there are so many Latin Forums, and so many people on the internet chatting in Latin, as well. Thus, I think it could be great to have a Latin version of Opera Browser. Take a look at Vicipaedia (Wikipedia in Latin) there so many article published there. There is also a website called 'Vocabula computatralia' an English to Latin computer terminology glossary. I was thinking about translating by my own, but it would take all my time...

http://www.obta.uw.edu.pl/~draco/docs/voccomp.html

Is there anybody interested? Any ideas?

Best regards!
Silva, Pablo.
