What do I mean by calling myself "deeply religious"?

It might be more precise to call myself totally religious. My religiousness is in one way or another present all the time and in everything that I do and say and write and think and feel. Yes, that also includes those moments when some might think: He does not sound very religious right now.

My reality is not divided into separate boxes. It is not fragmented. It is integrated. Some aspects may be downplayed some of the time, but they are still there. All of them. All of the time.

I feel as an integrated part of something that is immensely much greater and bigger than myself. Call it God or Nature or The World-soul or whatever you like. The name is relatively unimportant because any name you might choose would still be totally inadequate. This feeling is always there. Not always equally strong, but it is always there.

Hafiz
