On Sunday the 17th of May 2009 the resident cat gave birth to eight kittens. She chose to do so in the caravan where I live. I immediately understood three facts:

This was one of the greatest honours that had ever been bestowed upon me.
This was what I had been waiting for, the most important factor to keep me here.
This meant trouble.
