Today we announce our unformal award to the best <yet> pixel art avatar! The winner is @sergebruni, he has helped with the design of some parts at our site, including the little droid on his shoulder, but this time his ideas flew away! He managed to change the skin of the avatar in order to add a fancy Matrix background! He also added a pair of black glasses to the little droid!



Congratulations @sergebruni! Please follow him, he's an Android developer and he have helped us since the beginnig!

Opera's pixel art shirt!

Hello everyone smile

Tuitpix.com is a website made by @sadasant during his studies on canvas and image manipulations. It's intended to be a free online tool to configure, draw, save and publish pixel art avatars over social networks. It has been developed and designed in a minimalist and fast way, using free opensource programs over GNU/Linux, using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript for all the image-manipulations and some PHP code to the storing process and the social networks integration.

To make your own pixel art avatar, go to Tuitpix, click on the little faces at the left of the center image, loop over all the options and categories with the grey little arrows until you feel confortable, right click on the pixels of the current selected part to change the colors, and finally click on the right blue square at the left to open a window with your avatar! That's it!

You can also connect your twitter account with the small blue "t" button to obtain this cool features:
