Polluting Power Plants

CARMA ( Carbon Monitoring for Action) recently put out a report on thier website which lists the most polluting Thermal power plants in the world.
No guesses , the US accounts for than 25 % of the total carbon dioxide emmitted. The power plants in US emit about 2.8 billion tonnes of CO2 in an year.
It is a sign of the things to come as we mercilessly pollute the environment around us. Things do not look like changing with the renewable energy being much behind in terms of technology advancment.

Some good softwares

Have been always looking for stuff which is both helpful and as a smart look about it. Of cours without loading the system too much.
Here are some of the good softwares that I have used. Some of them I no longer use......
1) FreeRAM XP Pro.: For freeing RAM. ( Free Utility)
2) AVAST Anti Virus
3) Schmap : For tourists and Travellers ( Very intresting software)
4) IObit SmartDefrag : Defragments in the background too.
5) Gadwin Printscreen or Printkey : Both screen for screen capture
6) Symmtime : Probably one of the best clocks available.
If you ask me my favorite it is Schamp and FreeRAM. Both are well made and have a good feel about them.
Try them out if you haven't already

Lights in the Sky

It is festival time. The whole sky is lit with fireworks....
The streets are choked with shoppers, the street hawkers are having a great time. But you really can't fault their stocks this time of the year. They seem to have pulled out their best wares to match the season.
Dresses for all, bags, lamps,flowers everything is bright and shining.
Kids are having a ball, some who are experts in handinling the firecrackers, others who are tentative as they do it for the first time. Almost all of them under the watchful eyes of their parents.
Every building is dressed for the event. The skyline is twinkling,the sky is bright and winks with every explosion of colour.
There goes another shower of colourful sparks in the already lit up sky..............
Enjoy today, tomorrow is so far away.

It is a long weekend, and what else to do other than surf and haunt the cyberspace.
Thought I would try the Opera blog out.
It is a virtual world out here and there are many who believe that a post a day keeps senility at bay.
For many of them,it is a virtual life,a place where you just say what you want and don't care a hoot
who listens.
And then there are few like me who start, when they are bored of hour ,promise themselves they will keep posting . Then as you realise that none except you is reading the bilge that you post , you slowdown, smile at your stupidity ..........from there ,to forget the username and the password is a small insignificant step.................
As of now, I am in the mode of bookmarking my blog,checking my inbox,tagging friends ( god knows how I decide on them) and keeping track.....any bets on how long it will last. Your guess is as good as mine
