Across the street

It is festival time. The whole sky is lit with fireworks....

The streets are choked with shoppers, the street hawkers are having a great time. But you really can't fault their stocks this time of the year. They seem to have pulled out their best wares to match the season.

Dresses for all, bags, lamps,flowers everything is bright and shining.

Kids are having a ball, some who are experts in handinling the firecrackers, others who are tentative as they do it for the first time. Almost all of them under the watchful eyes of their parents.

Every building is dressed for the event. The skyline is twinkling,the sky is bright and winks with every explosion of colour.

There goes another shower of colourful sparks in the already lit up sky..............
