My OperaSunshine Village

Yanghua lives in a foster village called the "Sunshine Village". From my understanding, the foster parents are hired by the Hefei City Children Welfare Institute and by an organization called Alliance Foundation (see link section). Usually, the foster parents are experienced and at least one parent (normally the foster father) works outside the home and the other parent takes care of the kids (they're married obviously!). Looks like there's 6 kids ranging from an older child to a small child.
Several families have graciously taken pictures of Yanghua while visiting or adopting their kids. People who have met Yanghua describe her as a pretty and pleasant personality. The foster mom mention she is helpful around the house and gets along with other people.
Yanghua has mentioned to other families and acquaintances that she's fully aware of her adoption and can't wait to meet us. It's good to hear this coming from her. It was one of our worries that she wouldn't be aware of the upcoming adoption. It appears that Yanghua is prepared and she is looking forward to the adoption...we will see!
