Day Eight - This is the end

, , , ...

Today is the last day I'm writing a blog for UMMI 09 - it was one of the best weeks in my life. I have to thank Jernej, Tanja, Petra, Grega and Tereza (and everyone else in the camp), but mostly Marjan, who introduced me to the wonderful world of Adobe programs, photography and (although a little bit forcefully) the not-so-wonderful world of Macintosh. Here is the final clap video, it was made by about 500.000.000 pixels, 454 photos, days of work, billions of ideas and collected love of six great people I know.

I hope to meet any of the people I've met here again, and not just text them across Facebook. This was V-V-Vid Čopi, and I hope you'll read my blog the next year (If not, blame the Zois scolarship fund).

Marija's speach yesterday was such an inspiration for us, that we decided to try to be creative "topless".
Here is the result:

Radio stuff

Since this is the last day of ten days long hard working (or whatever:rolleyes: ) and work of our workshop is done (except of today's kickassing broadcasting on radio Koper at 18:30 - don't forget to listen our masterpiece) Maljo told me to write down some heart-breaking stuff about us.
yep, ok.

So regarding great responses on our last broadcasting I suppose that we've made some excellent work. bigsmile Although at the beginning I was scared of broadcasting. Enlarging on live on the radio for like an hour is what I was expecting:D fortunately it didn't happen. And just like in Hana's post I am also totally satisfied with my group. Bunch of awesome people met together and led by our mentor ( the best fella:D) we had a great time.
So today at 18:30 listen radio Koper for our last broadcasting. Ihope you'll enjoy it

Now finish..

Day Eight - The Playoffs

, , , ...

So, this is it. The last workday on this summercamp, meaning everyone is working like idiots trying to finish their projects/presentations. So you can imagine all the PCs are full, with sometimes two or more people on one PC. It is utter chaos, but we aren't a part of it, since we completed all our scheduled work yesterday, and are only finalizing it today. While everyone else will work their asses off, we'll be stroling through Koper, sightseeing and relaxing ourselves, thinking of all the poor souls back at school bigsmile
As for the movie I couldn't write anything, since I wasn't allowed (Vid doh ).As for the offical premiere, that will take part in the evening when we (Vid) will upload it. bigsmile

Just a little bit from myself:
Since this is my last post it should've been really something, but... I'm just tired from the last 9 days , allthough I would've been sad if I wasn't. This was the best summercamp I've been on, and I hope to come back next year.

P.S: A shoutout to all my homies, especially my (our) mentor Marjan, who is a really great guy and I couldn't do anything without him. Thanks! bigsmile

Day Eight - The last day

This will definitely be my last blog entrance, so I should write somethings about our workshop and other things that went on here.

I will not write about all the technical stuff that we learned because for that you can read Vid's or Kitek's blog. I would just like to say that I am happy I ended up in multimedia workshop because Marjan is a great mentor, we all were a great team and I learned a lot of new stuff (even though I didn't understand everything Vid And Kitek were discussing)

I like this camp and despite my injury I hope to return someday, as a participant or as a mentor, whichever.
