Opera Unite, out in Final !
By Navjot Paweranavjotpawera. Monday, November 23, 2009 9:05:38 AM
We just pushed out the final builds for Opera 10.10, and it comes with Opera Unite. Opera 10.10 is the first public stable version of the Opera desktop browser which comes with Opera Unite. This is a major milestone as all the public builds of the Opera desktop browser will now come with Opera Unite.
Opera Unite has come a long way since the alpha version released in June. We've fixed bugs, added features, refined development libraries and polished the applications and the documentation. Thanks to all the testing you guys helped us out with, Opera Unite now sits in the good books of our QA team as well

To celebrate this, we have revved up the Weekly application challenge and we will announce a new application every day this week. Keep an eye out for new applications at http://unite.opera.com/applications
Try out the new Opera 10.10 browser and yes, do let us know what you think

Still, things seem to be much faster in development with the new crashlogger. Thank you again for putting that in.
One other thing: My 10.01 showed an update available, but also its version could not be identified. So the auto-update notification gave me a choice of desktop or phone software...? Does this imply that snapshot updates are coming to all platforms, or else why the distinction?
PS: My vision for the future is a "phone mode" button. I very much enjoy using the Mini5 beta on a PC, and it would be nice if a similar interface were possible for owners of touchscreens or tablets.

It just isn't rocket science to be "competent." At least try to APPEAR smart.

Now show me on that page where the developers have any clue about the difference between mac osx PPC and mac osx intel and then show me where it is clear to the person clicking the download button which one they are downloading and installing.
All I am asking is that people who want credibility, display credibility

OS X version 10.5 is the last to support ppc on mac 10.6 needs intel
The universal binary runs on both ppc and intel macs 10.3.9 and up
