So far, all I have discussed here is the injustice which I perceived that My Opera had perpetrated against me. I have every intent and desire to operate within the limits of the rules that are set out. However, it is my belief that rules, like any Holy Book or the Constitution of governments, is open to interpretation and can be inadvertently violated through misinterpretation. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to self-correct when they discover that they are in violation of some rule or principal. Also, as I stated earlier, it was some time between my last log in and the one which informed me that I had been banned. It is quite possible that my account was hacked and used nefariously by an unknown third party (which Opera could determine via records of IP addresses accessing that account from their logs!). This could be blamed on both me and My Opera for our collective security practices.
I am a passionate person. I am passionate about FLOSS and Linux. I am passionate about the welfare of mankind and about defeating anyone who stands in the way of the progress of improving the collective state of mankind. I am passionate about injustice of all kinds. I am passionate about playing guitar and about computing. With all of these and more it is not surprising to most that my passions may be expressed in my writing about most any subject. If you agree with me on some subjects, great! I'd hope that you would comment to let me know that I am not alone. If you disagree with me, that is fine, too. I'd hope you too would comment and let me know why. There may be area's where I need to adjust my thinking. I'm always open to knew ideas. But I would ask that we keep it civil.
All this being said, it is time for me to get back to the subject which I had originally opened a My Opera account and started a blog for: to chronicle my experiences with finding suitable minimal Linux Distributions which will bring new life to old hardware without causing the average user to pull their hair out.
So, without further adieu, on with the show!
