原来这叫做“种族灭绝”

著名的网络民族主义者岳东晓博士，在帮助他湖南老乡贺氏夫妇向美国田纳西州法院打官司，要回贺家几年前交给当地美国人抚养的女儿贺梅时，这样写道：

原来如此。里面的情节是如此的相似，以至于我忍不住仔细读了两遍，确认岳东晓博士是在谈美国的印第安人，不是中国的藏人，也不是在谈“西藏班”、“新疆班”。小孩没有权利选择自己的出生，父母有自由权利（LIBERTY RIGHTS）按自己的方式抚育儿女、把子女塑造成自己需要的形象，这就叫父母权。
如果父母没有这个父母权，从家庭角度来说，就会绝代，从民族角度，就会绝种。五年前，我在谈到贺梅案时就举到美国印第安人的例子。美国政府把印第安小孩从其父母身边强行带走，让他们从小读住校、学英语，这些小孩长大后，就不再是真正意义上的印第安人，因为他们完全没有印第安人的文明特征，连跟自己父母语言都不能沟通。也许有人说，这样做符合这些小孩的最佳利益，他们吃的好、穿的好、说漂亮的英语，至少找份加油站工作没有问题。但这不过是种族灭绝的一种方式而已。

说得没错，我也在看到那篇文章时，就这段话反复读了两遍，说得就跟“西藏班”、“新疆班”一样，说得就跟说我一样，呵呵～～～

今天听一个朋友说援藏的事,说是帮助藏族人开发旅游?还听说4月份以后就不用入藏证了?不知道是真的还是假的.记得那时候在西藏,一个西藏男孩告诉我他没有文化,不会写字,我就问他:那你会藏文吗,他说会,我说:那就是你的文化,你懂你们自己的语言,认识你们自己的文字,怎么叫没有文化呢?当时他感动的告诉我,这是第一次有人这么告诉他...

i just finished to read a feminist book about Women and Development, in her book she used the word "development" in a quotation mark. For her "development" has another face which is to destroy the world where we live.
Think about what really means "development" to us? highly advanced technology? the factories which even can produce a bomb that can destroy the whole world in a second? The transportations that can make one have a global trip in a single day?
But how much we have to pay for it? Global warming which is meanly caused by smoking factories, mining site ....
Even those of people from rural areas who have never been benefited from the modernization or globalization are victims of them.
In Tibet how many organic Tibetans really have accesses to the highly developed technologies?? how many factories are owned by Tibetans? How many cars are there in the Tibetan rural areas? ask how many and count on your fingers? can you put up one finger? No you can't huh!
But we are still the victims of what others doing!

development is a term coined by western , that's why, development is not a good word by any means, u may refer to Escobar's article about development
