Nail clippers with a "catch"

, , , ,

...literally.

All my life, I've used the standard nail clippers that send shards of nail clipping shrapnel into the various crevices surrounding me, whether it's my keyboard, my shirt folds, counter top, or my eye. I try to clip over a trash can, but something about the angles I use doesn't work out and inevitably, they are careening off my face and I find myself clipping my nails with the stedfast caution of a bomb disposal technician.

That's why I was pleased to see this little gem. I was completely unaware of the advancements in nail clipping technology- but pleased that technology has marched us into the golden age of being able to clip without fear of losing an eye.

I am looking for the Gem Nail Clippers, one for manicure and one for pedicure for my father. He had the original set in a brown leather case and it was lost in his last move. Do you know where to buy these?
