Seeking: the ultimate commute friendly travel mug.

1) The ubiquitous travel mug. It's stainless steel and has a lid with a some kind of ingenious sliding or opening mechanism to sip the coffee from. Standard issue, exactly like what you are picturing right now.
-Pros: easy access. You can drink it at any time with one hand.
-Cons: needs constant attention. You have to make sure it's safely secured in the upright position.
2) The thermos. This puppy is pretty versatile. You can pack it up and throw it in a bag. Down side to this is that you can't drink on the go.
-Pros: You can throw it around, it won't leak.
-Cons: You can't drink any of it until you are stationary, and are able to pour. You usually have to unscrew it.

Where is the product that fits both of these Pros? I'm not saying they don't exist, I just haven't really seen it. this thermos mug is the only thing that I've found that makes the mark, but that handle is a bit much (other mugs on that site don't appear to be spill proof like that). And by leak proof, does that mean I can turn it upside down and jostle it around a bit with no leaks?
I'm looking for a thermos that I can easily drink from (without pouring) and get access to coffee with one hand, or at least that doesn't require "unscrewing" the lid to get access. Or, if we go the other way, a standard travel mug that I cant put in a bag and not worry about spilling and doesn't have the goofy handle. So slice that bad boy off and you've got a deal.
