htc Touch2が発売されてますが...

田舎町でもTouch2が発売されました。価格は税込み349ユーロ、htcスマフォでは飛び抜けて安く値付けされたようです。スクリーンが2.8インチで110gと小振りで良い感じですが、バッテリーはLi-Ion 1000 mAh、Windows Mobile6.5ではちと魅力が薄れます。これにAndroid2.0であればかなり面白い展開が期待できるのですが... 仕上がりはなかなかなのに残念ですね。
そこでGSMArenaを覗くと、TatooがAndroid-v1.6で間もなく登場するようで〜す。v2.0ならベストかと...
このサイズでこのスペックとなると、Motorola DEXT(3.1インチスクリーン)が対抗馬となるのではと...
でもやっぱりv2.0のMilestone、3.7インチ大画面が輝いてきま〜す！ 
ところがそのうち第４世代iPhoneも登場となると...

Gizmodoに『Else Intuition OS Looks Pretty Sweet on First Phone Expected Q2 Next Year』とあり、
This video is the best-look yet at the slick OpenGL-accelerated OS from Else (formerly Emblaze) and Access (who developed a next-gen Palm OS before Palm ditched it for their own). The big news: The First Else phone arrives next-year.
Confusingly, the name of Else's first phone is actually "First Else". As we mentioned in October, the phone has a 3.5-inch (480 x 854-pixel) touchscreen display, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 5-megapixel camera (capable of 480p video at 30fps). It's also very likely to have a TI OMAP 3430 processor, a 1450mAh battery, up to 32GB internal memory, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apparently, it may only support HSDPA 3G and EDGE (no Verizon).
As for the Linux-based OS, it uses a one-thumb wheel that avoids digging through menus, has GPS aware reminders, can record voice calls/messages and store them along with when the call was made, and straight-up looks sci-fi.
It seems that Linux-based mobile operating systems like Android and webOS will soon have a new competitor.

原点に戻ると、Nokia 5630で十分かも...

Nokia E55、E52もほぼ同格でAOのニーズにピッタリとウキウキしながら店頭で眺めていると、Nokia 5630も割り切って使うなら十分かもと思えてきました。CPUも同じ600Mhzで、internal RAMは128Mbですから、E55の2倍以上あります。おまけに付いて来るメモリーカードも4Gです。重さも83グラムと超軽量、これなら床に落としても、傷だらけになっても全然気にならないプラスティック製、その割にはシッカリとした作りで悪く無い感じです。さらにHSDPAも10.2Mbps対応なので、AA1からDUNでカッ飛ぶには悪く無いかもなどと、別の発想が頭に走って来ました。
一つだけ気になるのはスクリーンサイズが2.2インチしかない点かと... ビジネスライクを捨て、カジュアルに徹するには面白そうかと... PDA的な使い方を最低限にと割り切れば、使えるかも知れませんね。スマフォの流れが大画面化の方向にある中で、逆の発想もAO流らしいかなぁとか... 相変わらず悩ましい日々が続いています。秋の影響でしょうか... コダワリのプロを目指してモバイルの原点に戻るのもオツな物かと... 
追 明日から10日間ほど田舎町を離れます。帰ったらE52か5630に契約更新しようと予定しています。あくまで予定で終わるかもしれませんが...

フランスのコンピュータメーカーArchosは9月15日、GoogleのAndroidを搭載したタブレット型PCを発表した。欧米で発売する。
「Archos 5 Internet Tablet」は4.8インチのタッチスクリーン（解像度800×480ピクセル）を搭載した小型タブレット。CPUにはARMのARM Cortex-A8プロセッサ、OSにはAndroidを採用する。ストレージは160G～500GバイトHDDか8～32Gバイトフラッシュメモリを選択可能で、802.11b/g/n、 Bluetooth接続機能を内蔵する。
720pのHD動画の再生に対応し、Webテレビチャンネルにも直接アクセスできる。オプションのDVR（デジタルビデオレコーダー）ステーションを使えば、テレビ番組を録画することも可能だ。
アプリストアAppsLib StoreにアクセスしてAndroidアプリをダウンロードすることもでき、欧州向けの音楽ダウンロードサービスMewboxとも連係する。GPS機能やオフィスソフトThinkFreeなども備える。
サイズはフラッシュメモリ搭載モデルが143.2×78.8×10.4ミリ、182グラム、HDD搭載モデルが143.2×78.8×20ミリ、286グラム。199.99～369.99ポンドで販売される。

Archos wasn’t saying much about it, or when we’ll be seeing a release date, but it did confirm that the Archos Phone Tablet will pack a slimmer 4.3-inch touchscreen with a sharper 854×480 resolution, HSDPA, a 1GHz Arm processor and a thin, 10mm shell. Think slightly bigger than the Toshiba TG01, and Android instead of Windows Mobile.

LG GD910 Watch Phone 発売！

田舎町にもLG GD910 Watch Phoneが発売になりました！ 価格は何と驚きの899ユーロ ちょっとした軽量モバイル本体と変わらないような84グラムです。1グラム10ユーロ位でと価格設定しなような感じです。その程の価値があるのでしょうか ステータスシンボル狙いでしょうか。最近ヤケにキャピタリズムに嫌気をさしているAOで〜す 追 どうせなら、純金張りとかでこの価格だったら、買いも考えますよ、LG!

engadgetにも『HTC Touch HD2 to be an Android set?』とあり、
Fanboys the world over swooned over the HTC Touch HD when it launched last year, but word is that HTC's planning on making a major change to its high-res handset for the sequel: it's switching to Android. That's at least the hot whisper 'round the tubes this afternoon, and while that would ordinarily be enough to make the 'droidboys to go crazy, there's even more -- the CPU is reportedly a 628MHz Qualcomm chip, not the slightly overtaxed 528MHz number we've seen in every other Android handset to date. Sure, it's just a measly 100MHz, but if that's enough to make Sense and HD video on the 3.8-inch 480 x 800 display run smoothly we'll be all grins. If any of this is true, that is.
もしかするとAndroid搭載htc Touch HD2が登場しそうです。個人的にはhtcよりもLGが本格的にAndroid機を出した方が勝負になると思いますよ、Google！ 現時点では、その気になれば200ユーロ位でiPhone対抗フルスペックのAndroidスマフォを出せるのはLGだけではないでしょうか。Googleは全て安くなければいけません。200ユーロを切ればと市場への浸透も加速されると思います。My advice to Google is,"Don't stick to htc, but switch to LG!"
