I've got friends
Wednesday, 2. January 2008, 18:29:47
A few time have passed and I got some friends.
They are all very cooperative and helpful.
With time to come I hope to be able to get acquainted with them closer.
Though my english isn't that good, I expect my friends be able to understand me.
For the time being I am wishing them all many happy returns of this new year.
May God help them.

Hi,
here I am again.
I fully support what you have written here.
I don't know if it's appropriate, but I'd like to put in here for you my verse about politics. It is in Russian with my own translation into English:

PARTY’S MEMBERSHIP-CARD
My grandson grows up and I’ll tell him
I had lived in the country full of dream.
It carried out the Soviet Union’s name,
Ruined by renegades without a shame.
Of those times run down as such
Reminds me the Communist Party’s membership-card,
That in my table I keep untouched -
The rudiment of the epoch left in my blood.
I’ll tell him of the Communist party rule.
The one to which I had been affiliated.
And I’ll add: “I’m no longer a fool
To dress in any party’s attire”.
But I’m sorry for my Russia slated
And wish the traitors set to fire.
I'll be much oblidged to you if you comment on it.
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes and regards,
Valentin Savin

Wao!! Very inspirational! When feelings are expressed in code words like verses then they become best poems and your's is one of them. Translation of your poem came up excellent and "spassiba" for that. Today's politics are very confusing which are leading us rapidly to our destruction. In the poem, you didn't want to explain that much which even isn't necessary because each word of the poem explains thousand words.
You put a history what children of the future deserve to know. As a poet your feelings are very strong and that's why you could create such a volcano of words. Very few in the world practice and write with the truth and you, Mr. Valentin Savin, are one of them. When children can grow up with right poems, they can be very good production of the society. I wish rest of the poets of the world give up their wrongful arts and lies in their poems and literature.
In the poem you brought the anguish in the present and heroic legendary acts of the past.
You said,
"It carried out the Soviet Union’s name,
Ruined by renegades without a shame".
Poet! did you put any of your poems in Web Poetry Corner? You gonna find there another brilliant humaniterian poet like you whose name is Francis Duggan. He wrote over 7000 great poems. I also posted my poems there and you may post your's too.
By virtue of your poetic nature you are very polite and you possase good manners. I thank you for your personality. Please keep in touch and also try putting comments in my each work for which I will remain very grateful. Recognition and attention to poems are the best rewards for any poet. Thank you.

Thanks a lot for your nice comment on my poem.
I would never happen to think some one prises it so high.
Your recognition of my humble efforts means a lot to me and is very rewarding.
To tell you frankly I have never thought of putting my poems into Web Poetry Corner. Most frankly I do not know what it is and how to get there.
It sounds great. But I doubt if it may be accepted there.
Anyway I'll try.
Thank yoy very much, my dear friend.
Yours,
V.Savin:sing:

My friend! You even can go to open a free blog of yours with "Blogstream.com". Send few poems to "Tajmahal Review". Don't worry, motto and style of your poems are great and I mean it. Web poetry corner will surely publish them. I think they publish in once or twice a week.
Valentin! people like Bakunin and Kropotkin were born in your great land. There got to be something great in your land to give birth extra ordinary and gifted people. Your aim is high and I admire that. Stay well, also, happy and healthy New Year for you and for your love ones.
No more today.Thank you for every thing!

Few have this ability and you succeeded in both.
I hope you will pursue you love for truth and writing alive
and keep publishing them as time goes and share them with all
of us. (keep me informed of course)
I pray for a great return but a better return of the soviet union
keeping in mind the past mistakes and a new RUSSIA based on more
modern and concern for its people. All the best in both areas.
with affection, your friend Maria

How do you know that we are returning to the Soviet Union?
We neither see nor experience it here, though we never mind it.
It is mostly the western, rather american propaganda.
They prefer to see us week and submissive.
The consider it possible to "defend" their interests all over the world. But when we do defend our frontiers in here we are blamed and named agressors.
They are afraid or the Russia becoming strong and able to respond accordingly.
That is the whole story.
I sincerely hope you can understand me.

Time has come to rebalance things up. MY heart and feelings are with you and kira. Many greetings dear friends.
valsavin # 27. August 2008, 06:06
You are very polite and kind to both of us, Kira and myself. I really am not such a politician. I see life as it goes on, sometimes accepting, sometimes rejecting.
We wish you and your family to be healthy, wealthy and happy.
