    We took a road trip up to the old Gold Rush town of Barkerville, British Columbia. Barkerville's hey-day was around the turn of the 20th century and the town is preserved as a tourist attraction.

    It was mega bucks but we finally got someone to revamp our back yard. The elements we requested were a playspace for Risa, a more inviting entertaining space for us, and a foresty cool feel. As all the plants are new, the yard still feels a bit empty, but they will spread and cover by next year.

    I took a course in macro shooting and continue to enjoy fiddling around with my cameras. I'm still experimenting. Most shots are with my Yashica FX-3 and reversed Zeiss 50 mm f1.7 lens. Not fancy by any means but I do get some interesting visual effects. Enjoy!
