It's all I can think about now. Not what I have to do today. Just sit and watch the snow come down. The rooftop of Risa's play house is a good guage of how much snow has fallen. By this evening, there's about 2 ft of snow on the roof top. I discovered a nearby neighbor has a roof top deck that I never knew he had until I saw him shovelling snow off of it today. I wanted a roof top deck.Our garbage has not been picked up - it's 3 days late. The back lanes are very messy. We missed mail delivery a couple days ago, too, but the mailman has made it to our door now. I hope our family can make it to our house for dinner tomorrow night. If dinner is cancelled, at least we've got the turkey!
Our family has decided not to exchange gifts this year. Risa has a few packages under the tree, but it will otherwise be a very simple Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone!!

I was at home today and am going out of my mind with boredom and other things. I dread retiring now. Eeep.
I did go out for a run though, and yes it was a mess out there. Yuck.

U bet, we were snowed in but our little one had a ball with the snow. We had power outages too .... yak yak yak. But the serene white snow simply diminishes our inconveniences....and we simply snuggled by the gas fireplace( thank goodness ), had our hot chocs drink and watched the snowflakes twirled.
