Out of the Comfort Zone

In the wake of the Chris Benoit incident World Wrestling Entertainment(WWE) issued a statement on its website stating under the company's wellness policy it has suspended 10 performers. Here's the official statment -

Based on independent information received from investigators from the Albany County, NY D.A.’s office, WWE has today, under the penalty provisions of its wellness policy, issued suspension notices to 10 of its performers for violations. It has been WWE’s practice not to release the names of those who have been suspended, but notice has been sent to all WWE performers that names of anyone who is suspended under the Wellness Policy as of November 1 will be made public.

Although WWE have not released the names as to who have been suspended, Rumours are that 10-15 top WWE superstars have been suspended.These names include -

- Randy Orton
- Adam Copeland (Edge)
- Charlie Haas
- Robert Huffman (King Booker)
- Shane Helms
- Mike Bucci (Simon Dean)
- Anthony Carelli (Santino Marella)
- John Hennigan (John Morrison)
- Darren Matthews (William Regal)
- Ken Anderson (Kennedy)
- Chavo Guerrero
- Batista
- Funaki
- Chris Masters


If the above reported names above are true, its a big big blow for Wrestling and WWE in particular simply because all these are the top rung & main event performers for the company. I just dont know how WWE will manage its events without these stars ....
