WWE Confirms Suspensions ?

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has confirmed the names of suspended wrestlers. The confirmed WWE suspensions include Charlie Haas, Edge, Gregory Helms, John Morrison, William Regal, Mr. Kennedy, Umaga, Funaki, Chavo Guerrero and Chris Masters. It is unclear if Masters received a 30 or 60 day suspension. Masters has a lot of heat for missing the initial face to face meeting WWE had with the original ten suspended wrestlers days after the Summerslam PPV. Edge and Helms, both out of action due to injuries, will lose 30 days of their downside guarantee pay. Seems Mysterio and Batista have been cleared since they are going to co-headline Unforgiven with the Randy Orton/Cena match.

Past Monday night on RAW it was revealed that Vince McMahon's illegitimate son is none other than Hornswoggle. Mr.Kennedy was highly tipped to be the illegitimate son so as to give Mr.Kennedy a big push, but since the suspension & drug fiasco happened Mr.Kennedy was dropped from the story line.

Moving away from all this wrestling stuff, The World Twenty20 Championship kicked off yesterday in South Africa ! The hosts South Africa beat the West-Indies in a thrilling macth ! Twenty20 is the newest form of cricket in which each team bats for a maximum of only 20 overs a side, with each innings lasting for 80 minutes. This format brought in the crowds when it was first introduced at county level by the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2003 and such was the success of this format of the sport, the game quickly spread around the world with the first full men's Twenty20 international taking place in February 2005 between New Zealand and Australia.
The Indian cricket team has no experience playing Twenty20 matches. Also on top of it , the big three of Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar & Sourav Ganguly decided to skip the tournament. Indians who are grouped with arch rivals Pakistan & minnows Scotland will play their first match on the 13th with Scotland and on 14th with Pakistan in the group stages.
