Ok it’s been a while that I have rambled on about Wrestling ... So here my views on some of the hot topics that are going on around in the world of wrestling and the Internet Wrestling Community
1. Chris Jericho's Return
Ok it has been almost one and half month since the Save_Us.222 videos started airing on WWE. The rumors mills and the IWC went wild and every one has since then tried to decode what the videos mean every week and it seems that every one is sure that Chris Jericho is going to return to active wrestling with WWE. But the big question is when? He was expected to return at No Mercy, but he did not. I did not expect him to return that early ... I felt that WWE will build up some hype. Then the next return date of Chris Jericho was expected to be Cyber Sunday. But he didn't turn up there too. Now the next rumored "return date" is supposedly November 19. But I read a recent interview of Jericho and he said that he is pretty busy & tied up with book signings & promoting his new book for the next three weeks. So if he is returning & I don't think he will return until a month from now...
Does WWE need Jericho now? Yes it does! RAW is getting pretty boring these days to watch. With Jericho's return we will get a much needed change & breathe of fresh air there. Jericho is pretty good wrestler and a good entertainer ... so it will be fun. Plus Jericho has the experience, so he can also be a mentor to some of the new & younger guys like Mr. Kennedy, Carlito and Cody Rhodes.
2. A new look for wwe.com
The WWE website had a major transformation. There were minor changes introduced regularly, but this is a major one. But why? I feel the transformation has been done in order to accommodate ads. Yes now on every page of wwe.com that you visit will have Ads by Google and if you ask me it sucks. I don't think that WWE is that poor or bankrupt that they need to put ads on their website. I am sure there are many other ways to generate additional revenue...
