Yes thats how my feeling is . In the second test match played between India and Australia in Sydney that concluded today The Umpires and not the Australian cricket team led to India's loss. The Umpires made 11 wrong decisions all against India. I know the umpires are human and they are bound to make errors. But 11 of them and all against India ??? Give me a break. The wrong decisions included - not giving that cry-baby Symonds not out thrice even he was clearly out, Letting Pointing off the hook once, giving Indian batsmen Wasim Jaffer out of a no ball, giving Dravid and RP Singh out when they were not, And to top it off, Umpire Mark Benson consulted with Australian captain Ricky Pointing before giving Ganguly out.
The final nail in the coffin was from that cry-baby Andrew Symonds who wrongly alleged that Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh racially abused him. The match referee Mike Proctor banned Harbhajan Singh for 3 test matches. Its absolutely shocking and foolish decision. It is important to note that there was no evidence whatsoever that Harbhajan racially abused Symonds . Nor the umpires heard it , nor there is any audio or video evidence. The decision to ban Harbhajan was taken only on the basis of Matthew Hayden and Micheal Clarke.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Indian cricket team have decided to appeal against it. Its high time we do something against it ... its like racial discrimination against India ... Many Indians have expressed that the Indian Cricket Team should stop tour now and return home.
I don't want to say much , just watch and listen to the reaction of Indian captain Anil Kumble who is one of the most respected and gentlemen cricketer , you will understand what I am feeling and whole of India is ...
Even though we lost the match, we won more fans over than the Aussies did. Anil Kumble in the press conference was really dignified, brought his point out without ruffling many feathers. He was right, Clarke is an idiot. He just lingered on hoping that the ump was declare that a dead ball or something.
But BCCI has the ICC wrapped around their fingers, so no way will Harbhajan be banned for a few tests.
