These days we are facing some problems here in Greece. About a week ago, a cop shot and killed a 15-year old boy, in Athens. The kid was unarmed, he did not attack the policeman; all the witnesses are saying that it was a brutal, inexcusable murder.
Many people are protesting all over the country for all these days. There are many reasons for their wrath. They are saying e.g. that a policeman never get punished, whatever he has done. And they are a lot of problems in Greek society too.
Anyway, I am uploading a few photos from Athens. As you can see, Christmas celebrations are on!

"Is money necessary for happiness?"

The answer, clearly, is NO! Health is more important. Love is more important. Family is more important. If you health is destroyed, what the money can offer you? Nothing.
But of course, if you are healthy and you have loyal friends and a good family, money can help you to enjoy your time and to find more things to do.
And also, money can help you to face a lot of problems, of any kind (health problems included) –and makes you more popular. So you have more friends and many options for creating a new family.
But money is not necessary for happiness.

Why in some beaches do we have to pay in order to let us swim there?

First of all, some people are working there in order to keep those beaches clean and save for you –and your family.
They must be paid somehow, don’ t you agree?
But also there is a matter of social responsibility. You have to do something for clean beaches and if you deny pay, then, maybe you are a person who doesn’t care about the others. You see our society needs everyone’s participation and offer.

Sir expert, what is a ‘common man’ or, in other words, a ‘usual Joe’?

First of all, don’ t call me ‘sir’. I am not a sir –yet. Call me with the title “expert”.

Now, let’s get to the point. What is a common man? It’ s hard to describe. It ‘ s more easy to say what a common man is not.
It’ s not famous; his unique life is of no significant importance for our society. We don ‘t read about his adventures (adventures? Ha) in our magazines and we don’ t watch them in the TV shows.

But a common man has his likes and his dislikes. In fact, every common man has about the same likes and dislikes as the any other common man. We need to find these preferences, to foresee them if possible, to offer him exactly what he prefers: from that point of view, yes, he is our man!

Which of them is not just another “common man”?

Why you have to buy a new car every 3 years?

If he had doesn’t sell his car, then he will suffer a 5,500 € loss.
In a way of thinking, he had a 5,500 € profit.
And he has namely a profit every 3 years.

It’ s up to you to calculate how much money he saves in 6, 9 or 12 years!
So, buy and sell and then buy again –you ‘ ll never lose!

←Too late to sell that car…

“Why some people is more jealousy than the others?”

Well, the answer is that it just happens!
Each person has a unique personality. So, one is stubborn, other is egoist or courteous or …jealous, more jealous than many others.
Those kinds of differences add excitement to our relations.

The problem is when something is being exaggerated.
There has to be a limit –in everything.

It’ s all right to be jealous but you have also to control yourself.
Otherwise, you have a problem and something must be done for this.
And yes, scientists are working hard in that direction!
Their aim is to find a pill or a vaccine for extremely jealous people.
By taking that stuff a better balance will be achieved and jealousy will be remain in affordable limits.
Till the discovery for this new medicine, what else? Be patient –and don’ forget: in science we trust!

I' m not at all jealous!

Question: If it is true that piracy kills the music, then, record labels are “pirates”?

Expert says:
No, record labels are not any kind of pirates. They do not assault you, the do not rob you; they do not sell you their records at irrational low prices.
They sell their cds in reasonable prices and it is up to you to buy them or not.
But I can read between the lines –I ‘m pretty good at that- and I guess that there is a subtle message in that question. You probably suggest that most of the new songs are of low quality, meaningless and so on. You are wrong! These songs reflect our relations, revealing our time. You can’ t be so negative, you really sound like a maladjusted person. But don’ t be panic for that, there is a solution for your problem. Just try to listen that kind of songs several times a day, especially when you feel exhausted. That way, you will start understand them and feeling the rhythm. It’ s up to you my friend!

Next weeks question: “why some people are more jealous than the others?”

Expert says...

Every Monday, our expert answers a new question.

The first question is: if it is true that piracy kills the music, then, record labels are “pirates”?

So, wait till Monday for the answer –and, for a new question.
