We have posted an update - see the 'links' section for the download. This release addresses a number of bugs, as well as a major update to the UI.
All feedback is welcome.

We have posted the first WebEngine Beta with the Opera technology embed. Please download and give it a try. As this is a beta release there is no documentation on the preview and mobile features just yet. However, some of the highlights include:
- The ability to create content for the web and for mobile devices with one page
- The ability to preview the content as it would appear on the web and in a variety of mobile and PDA resolutions
- The ability to create interactive animation
This is just a short list, we'll add more as we go.
WebEngine can be downloaded from the VMI Links page:

This is my first post here on the VMI/Opera Blog. We're setting things up right now so that visitors will be able to download and try Virtual Mechanics Web Engine Beta. This beta will include the Opera Embrowser embedded into it. This will allow people to edit and preview their work directly in the Web Engine work-window by toggling the Opera browser. What is more, you will be able to view what your page will look like in the Desktop and the Mobile versions of the browser.
We're just getting things set up here. We'll have more soon.
Cheers,
Derry
