I think the subtlety of this says more about Autumn than all those vibrant leaf shots,I would though have made the house a touch less central in the shot.

Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate.

I rarely put the subject in the center and if I do, it's because I love the effect. In this case, I remember trying to decentre the house in the cropping in every possible ways but the side environment wasn't as esthetical as the little peninsula where the house is. On the left through the spruce (fir?) you can see the house of the neighbour. There was all kind of junks in front of it.
