I have only recently been making attempts to photograph birds. It's much harder than I realized! About the time I zoom in on one, it flies away. And when I used maximum telephoto, I have a hard time keeping the camera steady enough to prevent blur. I have much to learn.
Well it is a point-and-shoot: a Canon PowerShot SX200IS.
I inherited a Canon DSLR last year, but I haven't been using it because it had dust in it somewhere. I thought it was on the sensor, so I ordered an air blower and followed the user manual's instructions for cleanning the sensor, but that didn't help. I am beginning to think the dust is in the lens itself, but I have no idea how to fix that.
