I don't know, I kind of want to buy a new computer. Warm place, sun, spend lots of money have little to show for it except a nice warm sun tan and a relaxed attitude. Or...a new computer. Which has a lot of longer lasting benefits. And if it's a laptop it can keep my lap warm.

On the other hand, in Serbia you can buy a decent laptop for about 350 EUR, it is about 540 CAD and on sales it go a bit lower. Then, you should collect about 1500 EUR for that trip, but maybe it would be cheaper from Canada

How much? For appartment like yours?
In Belgrade, for a flat of 45 square meters (like the one where I live) and in neighbourhood where I live, it is about 200 - 300 eur per month, and usually, you aresupposed to pay 6 months ahead if you just rented it. After that it is on monthly payments. In center or in richer parts of town it could go from 500 EUR and above.

There must be a lot of people who can't collect that kind of money. Here my landlord asked me for 2 months but still it's illegal.

It is illegal here too, but no one cares. Especially because people are usually in problem and need flat as soon as possible. And landlord usually don`t pay tax, it is all finished "behind the curtains" so to say
