Ah, there you were!

First storm of the year, it's about time! And when I say "storm" I mean small storm, we received only 12 cm of the 25 cm and + expected

At least, it will mix with the artificial snow that the ski resorts have fabricated and improve the conditions

Ironically, though, the first snow comes with the first extreme cold:

-21°C, -35°C with the wind chill factor

When will I be able to ski this winter!!!!!!!!!???

Waiting for the snow

I have taken a break from the paint this weekend and went to visit the surroundings of my new house. In addition to the small river that flows at a few hundred feet of my place, and the nice forest all around, there is a small ski hill that I can access in a 5 minutes walk. I never skied that hill but after a quick visit by foot, I found a few interesting tracks. But the most pleasant thing about it, it's that it's in my backyard and it will be a excellent playground all year long.
