A question:
If you had a business that you did for 18 year and put your heart into it, would you leave if you were unhappy and start a new one or would you work at it to make it happy again?
Relationships are big business.
I think you were dumb to leave her, especially since you mope about it.

I understand what you’ve meant by your business comparison and I think you choose this comparison because you notice the importance of work in my life. Am I right?
But I did take this decision reasoning in another way. If you had a business for 18 years with a partner and put your heart in to it, and one day the business starts to have difficulties. After trying to fix things up during a period of time you realize that you aren’t able to put the business back into the right tracks because you and your partner don’t have the same vision for the company future. Would you dissolve the company and try to start a new one?
That’s what I choose. I maybe mope about it but I could have moped much more if I did stay.
