First week at MESCE

me back after a week at MESCE

The first few days were tough. The hostel was girls hostel 2 years ago and they had already left their marks. Even the cieling is filled with their inscriptions. then that hostel was closed for 1 year and was opened only 3 days before we reached there.
The hostel should be given to some scientists. there are tonnes of never before seen insects and all varities of ants in there

. my first impression was good by no means

The rooms were really small. Facilities werent upto the mark. There was a fan that would work only at one speed

. when its switched off, its too hot. when its switched on, its way too cold.

There were some good aspects about the hostel. we were far from the seniors and we also had 2 teaching staff as the wardens . they are really cool and friendly guys. We were completely free there. they ask to be back in hostel and close all rooms by 10pm. even at 12pm, the guys are outside. the wardens wouldnt tell anything.

Also the food there rocks

. i dont remember having taken such good food continuously for a week.

I was homesick and bored for a day or two

. then i started mixing up with the roommates and other hostelmates and i started feeling good and okay:) . Made a lotta friends already. dont remember all their names

but can identify them.

we have a total of 11 subjects including the workshops

. thats too much IMO but my opinion wont change things there. i couldnt study even 5 subjects properly in 12th. i wonder how am gonna do 11 this year

only 1 or 2 classes have begun. even the lecturers arent much interested in starting everything in the first week. the lecturers are nice and friendly.

i hope things continue to remain good throughout the years....

and BTW i found out what MES stands for.

hostel life is fun..enjoy urself. :cheers:
