My Top 10 List of Things to Do in Norway
Sunday, 6. September 2009, 22:43:42

10. Stuff myself with different Norwegian dishes such as gravlaks, smørbrød and Reinsdyrsteik. And find out if their taste is worth the tricky pronunciations.
9. Climb the world famous Holmenkollen Ski Jump. Now when I'm up there, descending would be a choice from ski jumping to rappelling to ziplining or...who am I kidding? I'd simply climb down the way I climbed up. I'm in beautiful Norway, no time to be suicidal.
8. Find out if trolls really do exist. And perhaps take one home with me as evidence. My mom would be so proud! Or maybe she'd freak out and kick me and little trolly out of the house? Okay, taking one home is NOT an option.
7. Pay tribute to Edvard Munch by painting my own version of "The Scream". Although, I think Munch would not appreciate my tiny revision as much as the Opera CEO.
6. BASE jump off of a fjord. Maybe this only comes after all nine have been accomplished. As I've said, I'm far from being suicidal.
5. Go to the Norwegian Wood Rock Festival. The best of Rock music all in one concert? Sounds good to me. Wait a second...am I sure squeezing into a mob of crazy rock fans isn't as dangerous as jumping off of a fjord? Rock on!
4. Receive a Nobel Peace Prize. Okay, this might sound too ambitious, but it's free to dream, right? Anyway, I'm in the very country where the said prize is given. Plus I'm your neighborhood peace lover, no less!
3. Stay up all day or even a whole month, basking in the midnight sun! Why not? This is a natural phenomenon that's truly one of a kind. And I'm not a vampire. So I won't miss it for the world.
2. Be a Viking for a day. Wear a Viking helmet and sail to work aboard one of their famous longships! Now where on earth can I get a parking space for this? Can someone tell the boss I'm going to be a little late?
1. And finally, realize my childhood dream of making my very first snowman! Since the country where I'm from is deprived of snow, I'll forget being twenty-three the moment I experience this natural wonder! Kid in a candy store, if you may. Or more accurately, a "shuddering" kid in a "frozen" candy store.

Wikipedia didn't mention a thing about that, though. Haha. Maybe I'd just climb some skyscraper or something.
Thanks for the info, bro.
