On Saturday night I sat down to watch the boxing, Joe Calzaghe v Bernard Hopkins. Sadly, I don't have a PPP facility with HBO and was disappointed. Or was I? What to do. Now I've tried a few 'web streaming' services that promise free live PPP TV before, and it was always rubbish. A complicated download and install, rubbish connection, terrible quality....I didn't watch to the end. But still, the fight on Saturday was too big to miss, so I ventured online looking for a solution. And I found one. Sopcast. Easy install, it connected after about a minute and excellent video quality. Ok, the screen did keep freezing for the first couple of rounds, but after a PC restart (I figured I had too many apps running) it worked just fine. This one is staying on my PC!
