Windows 8 launched from October 26 has been criticized before its release, however the new Microsoft OS would have resulted in the sale of 40 million license. Meanwhile, Windows Phone 8 is a great success, but a patch should be proposed.
According to Microsoft, 40 million licenses of Windows 8 have been sold since its launch in October. Marketing manager and financial Tami Reller, is that submitted this information. There were many critics before and even after the sale. Some felt that the new operating system from Redmond will not meet the expected success.
Microsoft has tried to reassure publishing sales volume. This number also allows a comparison with Windows 7. The latter would have sold 60 million licenses in 10 weeks. The company did not provide additional information, 40 million do not necessarily correspond to 40 million people. Tami Reller did not indicate if the licenses were purchased by professionals or individuals.

iphone 5, 1, 3 Ghz, a6
...
The veil begins to rise around the A6 processor built into the Apple iPhone 5 manufacturer. While the elements of official communication of the brand reported a operating frequency of 1GHz, the latest version of Geekbench on it reveals a gap of 300 Mhz.
Version 2.3.6 provides a more detailed reading of the frequencies affected by the processor during the various tests.
According to John Poole who conducted the tests on behalf of the Prime Labs site, the frequency of 1.3 GHz is constant which is away from the possibility of a function "turbo boost" of pushing the original
frequency at high demands in computing power.
IPhone owners can install Geekbench 5 in its latest version (2.3.6) to determine whether the frequency shown is similar.

iphone 5, online, sold out, news
...
Well people, it is safe to say that Apple's iPhone 5 is sold out and its not even the been released! On Friday it was reported that in a very short times the order started kicking in once the device was presented on September the 12th. Soon enough we had reports that the iPhone 5 was sold out from the official website. This latest turn of events has made Apple's stocks sky rocket and its shares record high! Along with a series of legal deputes that Apple has won against Samsung, Motorola and Google this seems like a very good year for Apple and the iPhone 5 comes like a cherry at the top!
The order via the online store are closed for the time being and those who have ordered the the new iPhone 5 can expect to get their latest tech gadget on September the 28th, a full week after it gets released into the open market via carriers and shops.
"The initial batch is sold out," said Shaw Wu, an analyst at Sterne Agee & Leach Inc, indicating that there will no doubt me more goodies and offers from Apple for the iPhone 5.
While experts are saying that the iPhone 5 isn't selling as fast as the previous model but that does not necessary mean that Apple won't be earning a lot of revenue. In fact, it is expected that 58 million of the latest iPhone 5 devices may be sold out by the end of the year. This would generate as much as $36.2 billion in sales for the mobile industry giant, Apple.
The iPhone 5's price is brought down to as low as $199 for those who want to get the device via carriers such as Verizon and AT&T. Carriers are complaining that this a double-edged sword as it will cost them a lot of money in the start to give out these iPhone 5 units for such as cheap price, considering how much they bought them for from Apple. However, they should earn a lot since it is a two-year contract that their new clients will be signing so everyone should be happy in the end.
Craig Moffett at Sanford C. Bernstein said on Friday:
"The iPhone is a double-edged sword for the carriers. While the iPhone helps fuel customers' use of data, leading to higher phone bills, the initial costs create short-term pain."

free, website, value
Before selling your website I always recommend getting your website appraised, that being said I’ve gotten three of my websites professionally appraised and noticed that the result were quite similar to the results I received at
website value. I wouldn’t say that’s an accurate measurement but it’s fairly close. There’s one thing to note however and that is the type of traffic your website is receiving because once your website receives an accurate appraisal the sources of we’re you get your traffic will be revealed.
Type Of Traffic Your website is getting
If the traffic your website receives comes from non organic sources it might devalue your websites worth, there’s also the factor of what type of website you own, if its a membership website with a membership base and an active subscribers list you might get more for it. Most of the time that’s exactly what a buyer is looking for… A membership website with a responsive membership base or an established website that is generating some sort of revenue.
Flip websites the smart way
For many buyers it’s the list they’re after along with active members to help grow their business. Another high value industry is real estate industry I’ve had a few friends get some good money flipping real estate websites, If you’re getting a website just to flip it my advice is to purchase a website in high demand niche. Aim for the rich and middle class type sites like golf, tennis automotive trucks that sort of thing. The small business audience typically is willing to pay more than lesser known audiences.

Website Value ranks Huffington Post as the 27th most visited website with 30.5 million monthly U.S. visitors and 39.5 million monthly global visitors. AOL is buying it for $315 million.
Website Value currently ranks Ingrimayne, which contains the on-line Cybereconomics textbook, as the the 49,853rd most visited website with 30.9 thousand monthly U.S. vistors and 57.3 thousand global visitors. Based on these numbers, Ingrimayne is roughly 1000 times smaller than Huffington Post. Is it worth 0.1% of what Huffington Post is worth? Anyone willing to make such an offer will find a very receptive audience.
Update: APL collects $250 million dollars each year from people who do not understand that it is free, but keep paying for it:
A friend of mine has an AOL e-mail address, so I called her and gently asked if she is still paying the AOL subscription fee.
“Well, yes, I like the service, and everybody already has my AOL address,” she said.
I tried explaining that all this is free, but I’m sure she was skeptical. How can something that’s valuable now be free?
AOL’s paid subscriptions are declining each year, down from about 8 million five years ago. Folks are getting the message, but not a certain group that basically doesn’t care to understand how the Internet works.
