If you understand even one of the words from the blog title, then we have a gift for you. The Widgets catalog is now also available in Chinese, German, Indonesian, Polish, and Spanish!
The website has previously been available in Russian and Japanese.
The available widgets however may not be available in your language though, as they still need to be localized by the widget developer.

The Ericsson Widget Awards contest ceremony was recently held in Sweden, where the top three winners were flown in to be rewarded. Several members of the jury were present, including Opera's own CDO, Christen Krogh.
The first place winners are Victor Garzon and Jhon Samboni from Universidad de Cauca in Columbia who received € 15,000 for their widget Mobile World News.
Dan Kopparhed and Anders Stödberg from ArcMage software company took the second place with their game application called Quest, which enables a game master to organize outdoor treasure hunts using GPS services. They will receive € 10,000 in prize money!
And the third place went to Fredrik Wångberg from Strikersoft, who created Personal Shopper, that takes the worry out of shopping by enabling users to create their own shopping lists and then tick off items as they make their purchases. He receives € 5,000 for his winning entry.
All the winning and participating widgets will be marketed through operators that have implemented Ericsson’s e-store, which is where all the company’s applications are stored.

Opera Widgets were first launched with Opera Desktop 9.0 in 2006! But to keep this fresh, we will only be focusing on the statistics from January to February 2011. Since then, Opera Widgets have been downloaded over 4.65 million times!
The top 10 widgets by download are shown below. A quick snapshot reveals users interest in widgets providing quick access to music, video, games and also tools such a clock, language translator and weather updates.

SeesuWidgets are loved worldwide, but the following ten countries enjoyed using Opera Widgets the most.
Just barely missing the 10th position were France, Czech Republic and Indonesia. Another interesting thing to note is visitors from Unites States and India spent twice the amount of time than all other visitors!
