The Big Mac

, , ,

We've run this widget competition for a little more than a month. And by now I know you're all wondering what we've got planned for the big prize. I mean, we've got weekly prizes from ThinkGeek, two Nokia 770s for our monthly prizes and then the Big Mac.

We're giving the winner a tricked out, double stuffed, supersized Macbook Pro. 15" screen, sweet Intel Core Duo and all the trimmings. But we're adding a little secret sauce too. We're including all the software to make it a dual boot machine - meaning you can run both Windows XP and Mac OS X. When you add it all up, the total prize is valued at more than $2500. You know, we couldn't give away just anything to the eventual widget maestro.

This isn't Vegas; you've got an excellent chance of winning. We get a handful of widgets each week. All entries - every single one - will be eligible for the Grand Prize, so get coding. The clock ticks...

Good luck to all!

Nice prize. Too bad they don't give out prizes for the quality of the writing instead of just widgets.

Wouldnt it be a good idea to finally fix the MacOpera UI if the winner gets a Mac?

danitool Friday, June 30, 2006 9:24:38 AM

... and why not a triple boot with a Unix system?... there is no cost and many many advantages :-) Kubuntu for example.
