If you have downloaded and installed the latest version of SetPoint (version 6.22.24), and your VX Revolution mouse picture has disappeared, as shown, I have a solution for you!
The following solution is provided by CarterW
on the Logitech forums, though he linked to the wrong file
Download the executable at http://logitech-sjca.navisite.net/logitech/controldevices/setpoint/devices/2/100007a.exe
then restart the software. This can be done by right clicking the SetPoint icon (
) in the notification area (as shown below.
Then select "exit."
After that relaunch the program from the start menu.
Restart the PC to confirm the fix.

I recently encountered a glitch on Windows 7 where an pinned items remain on the start menu after I have unpinned it. However, I cannot start the IE9 pinned app from the taskbar. When everything else failed, I tried to log off and log back in. This fixed the problem. If any glitch happen with the visual aspect of Windows 7, try logging out and back it again. If that doesn't work, try restarting.
