I have a Passion and a way with animals wild and tame alike ..

I guess you would say IM lucky to be able to walk in the woods see a Bear and have it feel safe enough to walk passed me once passed a few feet they stand up and wave or show me there hands I wave back... what a feeling knowing i have a gift..Tammy

Hi, I just joined this group and you were the only one listed. Where do you live that you can get so close to bears. I love animals. I'm a 38 year old mother of three and a busines owner, but as a young woman I attended Tuskegee University and majored in Veterinary Medicine. My children all love animals. We have tropical fish and a cat named Jazz. We've also had turtles (we set them free in the woods near our home), geckos (we donated to the local school) and African tree frogs (we also donated to the school). We are blessed to live in a registered Park community in Maryland where we live amongst deer, racoons, fox, opossum, many different kinds of birds, turtles, and smal animals (squirrel, chipmunks, moles, field mice, etc.) My children see lots of different insects and they are facinated and have learned to love nature. We have bike and walking trails in my community, fishing streams and areas to just sit and enjoy the outdoors. Nice introducung myself to you. Hope we can talk further someday
