The Intranet Fridge!

Long time, no posting. I just wanted to brag about our new fridge in our department. My hackathon-colleague and I have made a little thing - again.
After money disappearing, and people not paying for stuff when they are taking items from the fridge, we decided to do something about this. In the first place, we were planning to set up a motion detecting webcam - but that would just be boring. So. Well, we created a system against our company intranet ldap-service, installed a magnetic lock, a buzzer and a temperature sensor on the fridge, and.. Yeah, some sloppy php and perl ;-D

VOILLA! A fridge you have to login to when you need access to it!
Taaadaaa! ;P
If you try to open the fridge without logging in and unlocking, an alarm will go off and.. we will probably add a nagios-plugin, so it can send a mail if the door is open, or the temperature is too high
Not super tight security, but it's better than nothing

The fridge was just a bunch of quick hacks and some soldering, hehe.
