Frozen

Frozen land, frozen heart
Frozen lakes, frozen soul
Cold winter breeze blew
Cold blooded me stood still

Frozen trees, frozen limbs
Frozen petals, frozen flesh
Soft, beautiful snow flew
I stood there unmoved, still

Where are the singing birds?
Gone away forever
Where is the life?
Dried up and became dust

The girl once merry and proud
Spirit gone with the wind
The pond once brewing with life
Now frozen and dead

Who brings about winter?
Ruining these wonderful creatures
Who brings about winter?
Taking away the lively spirits

Your words, like a thousand knives
Stabbed the frozen piece inside me
Crushed my resistance
And pierced through my heart

For the pain is not the stab
But for when you pulled it out
And left it to bleed away
Until the last drop of life

The music of horror
Plays in my head
As I walked my last steps
My head held up high

Sometimes I get in that kind of mood...hehe thus I write these poems :D but I'm usually a happy person, as you could probably tell, but I find it easier to write about sorrow than joy hehe I'm glad you liked it :D

I'm glad to read the previous comments, and happy to know you are OK!
I've been thinking in previous meetings too, and it's true winter has its magic. White and grey are not bad colors when are mixed with others.

Anyway, if sometimes it makes you feel cold (even when it's a great weather in the Philippines) you can ask me for warm coffee to share, and the pizzas that I promised :lol:. Well, it's not needed to be cold to enjoy that, don't you think?

Absolutely! hahaha I love coffee P: although I am careful not to get addicted with it :lol: I like latte and cappuccino, not really very strong coffee, I agree, but for now I don't think I need the black coffee yet :D

I've found sites to share files, but never a site to share food :lol: It would be the invention of the century!!!

Well, here some ideas:
FedEx... is not a good idea: the pizza will arrive cold and like a stone, and the coffee cold, if arrives.
Develop a good conection of mind: I can think STRONGLY in the taste of the pizza, and my friend feel the same, but this is absolutely a mad idea.
Eat with a webcam front of my food, being conected to chat: but it could be so selfish if my friend can't buy a pizza and she really wants one piece. Consider the time too: when here is daytime, there is night, sometimes I eat pizza at breakfast, but is better at night.
Remember my friend when I'm eating, and say "this one is for...": but I think this will not work too.

As I can see, I'll be in troubles if Shir ask me for a pizza. WHY DID I SUGGESTED THAT!!!! :worried: awww :cry:

Shir, please be good to me and DON'T ask for one :lol: :lol: just joking!

Sorry for all this amount of foolish thoughts!



BTW: did you ever tried pizza with mayonnaise? My wife says is a disaster, but it's great when the pizza is cold!

:lol: same here back when I was in my last year of high school P: it gives the "so near, yet so far" kind of feeling hahaha so get over with the exams and enjoy vacation :wink:

Since I live in Siberia I know about winter a lot. :smile:
-50 C sometime. :smile: Everything, EVERYTHING white!
The forest looks like some wonderful fairy-tail.
Very few people on the street and all looks like frozen.
I have one association with this word. Ofcourse, it mean cold, but it's not matter for me. Frozen for me it's calmless in my soul.

For example:
There are three cold monthes in Siberia and all other monthes are very cold.
There are two winters in Siberia. One winter is white and second is green. :smile:

Well, almost true. :smile: Middle summer temperature is about 20 - 25 C. :smile:
But for Siberian people it's tooooo hot. :smile:

:lol: 20-25C is like winter for Philippines P: the hottest weather we can get is above 38C...that was the temperature when I was on my trip in Boracay :lol:
