First destination was the Crocodile Reef, a popular snorkeling destination, where my friends were all excited about. When we got there, they happily put on their life vests and goggles and went down into the water. While they were experiencing the joy of feeding the fish, seeing the corals, I can only sit on the boat and be their photographer Why? because I couldn't swim...even when there are life vests, my parents wouldn't let me go Ah well, maybe next time, when I learn to swim
After around fifteen minutes, we continued to Crystal Cove where we visited two caves. Down under, the current was strong, and my friends were screaming everytime the water rushes towards them and to the rocks so again, I sat beside taking pictures. Well, I enjoy photography, so I had no problem with it The island was beautiful. Again, the white sand beaches and blue green sea water. There were also some animals there -- monkeys, hawks, falcons, and herons. We didn't stay for too long there, and left after about an hour.
The next destination was the Puka Beach, on the northern part of the Boracay island. It is a secluded area where there isn't yet much constructions and establishments. Yes, it is a very quiet, clean, and isolated part of the island, as compared to White Beach, where we were staying. Seeing the sand so white and powdery, I couldn't resist but took the liberty of snatching some home People are not allowed to take anything, sand or sea shells, from the beach, but the tour guide told me I could take some home as long as I don't make it too obvious. Then there I was, walking and strolling back and forth, occasionally bending down to touch the sand, pretending I was amazed While my friends were again swimming, I sat down on the warm sand, took out my camera and started taking pictures again of the surroundings. It was a great experience After a while, we got back to the boat and sailed back to the hotel, where we had pizza for lunch
We stayed in the room after lunch, rested a bit, and then we headed the beach and D'Mall again. On the way, my friends went to have Henna painted on their arms. I didn't coz it would look so weird when I go to Scandinavia soon Then, we headed Hey Jude ( a bar and restaurant) to have dinner, and later had a some alcoholic drinks I had a glass of Kamikaze (vodka, triple sec, lime juice). It tasted good, but it was really strong. I started feeling dizzy after a while and my friend said my face was so red Another friend was worse than me, she was all wasted by the time we got back to the hotel. She went to sleep right away and woke up in the midnight not remembering what happened Anyway, I had a great sleep too.
The next day, we woke up 6:00, prepared our luggage and headed down for breakfast. After that, its time to go home, so again, the car ride, boat ride, bus ride, and lastly, the plane ride Got home in the afternoon and slept for 6 hours straight hihi
Overall, this was a great experience with my friends. I look forward to such excursions in the future. Hopefully, I'd learned how to swim by then. I felt I missing a big part of the fun I'll be posting the pictures soon, please check the photo albums See ya!
