"Hot" Girls!
Friday, August 1, 2008 6:02:47 PM

Wow! It felt like a century ago when I last wrote a new post
The truth is, or well you all might have already guessed, is that I was buried too deep under my never-decreasing workload. Well, I'd been working overtime recently, and sleeping undertime
I had skipped classes during the whole month of July more than I had during the last two years of my university life!
It does not sound like me anymore...when I used to wonder why a friend of mine always attempts to cut classes, when he could have exerted a little more effort to sleep early and wake up early to attend class. But now, I understood
Once you start skipping classes, you'll never stop doing it. Yeah, it's addictive...
sleeping has never been such a luxury for me than during the past 19 years of my life
So, now you're wondering, why a title like that for this post? Well, it has nothing to do with our appearances, of course
instead, our thesis adviser started calling my thesis group "The Hot Girls" because we were doing a thesis about the potential of an increased geothermal power production in the Philippines, and how it can contribute to carbon offsetting, and to an economy without depending on oil for electricity
Since, geothermal steam is indeed very hot (about 300C degree or higher), that was where we naturally got our little "nom de plume" from
I don't know how long these hot girls are going to remain hot, but we sure wouldn't want to be like hot potatoes tossed from one hand to another hehe Eventually, I feel the need to get tired of complaining about Panda bear...since she's always doing all so well, while the remaining three of us grew paler and sicklier each day, hmm I wonder why?
Anyway, just so you guys don't get too worried about my sudden "evaporation" (although that is quite unlikely, since we've been having a considerably great amount of rainfall lately, that I had never wished so much to wear flip flops to school instead of close-shoes, because of the higher-than-ankle-length flood) and the possibility of never falling back to earth as a part of the condensation cycle...I decided to write something random, which is what I'm doing now
A lot has been going on lately, and by that, I mean A LOT! Things change unexpectedly, and perhaps miracles come next? haha in my dreams
but hey, no matter what happens, I would never attempt to abondon this beloved blog of mine that has bridged so many wonderful friendships, even through this virtual world. In our subconsciousness, I know we'd already treated everything here as if it is part of our lives in reality
I write stuff on here, and I get comments back, then I would comment back, and so on...its just as normal as that, but somehow it has become an inevitable part of our daily lives
That is how I felt for this blog and all the people that came with it
One thing's for sure, even when the "Hot Girls" are no longer hot, I'll make sure that at least one of them would always toss in some random stuff on here
and that would be me
Hmm it is my bed time now...*yawn* Good night everyone! sweet dreams...
and have a great weekend!

I don't get it. They say that electric cars aren't practical, and yet they were quite common in the early days of the 20th century. GM bought them all up and put them out of buisness.

How are your classes going? Are you going to be some type of engineer?
Winterwinterdawn # Monday, September 8, 2008 7:45:30 PM
I'm not going to be an engineer, far from it in fact. I'm majoring in economics and management. The reason I'm doing research on geothermal energy and oil matters is that I'm doing a thesis on this regard. It is also in the best interest of economists to solve environmental problems efficiently and economically, thats why environmental economics exists

May I add you to my friends list?
Winterwinterdawn # Monday, September 8, 2008 7:59:21 PM
Of course you may add me. I thought you had already added me, assuming our previous interaction and some indirect conversations in Linh's blog and such
