My OperaCountdown to the end

I'm heading on the last stretch to the end of my working life. Well, my current working life. Let me just say a quick hi on the off-chance that someone'll read this. My name's Liz, I work for a teeny company in Aberdeen and I've been here for the last 3 years. I programme things and make online videos but recently I realised that my life is sort of stuck in a rut. I go to work, work then go home and write with a friend. This is the whole of my life. Sound boring? Well yeah, 'course.
So, I'm saying goodbye to the working part. I'm keeping the writing part coz that's deeply fun. I'm heading back to university (since I've already got a couple of degrees) and I'm going to learn all I can about Celtic Studies. From there I'm hoping to work out what the heck I wanna do with the rest of my life. Yeah, 28 and I still don't know.
Here I thought I'd write a bit about what it's like going back to university after 5 years plus maybe give an insight into what it's like to go to study and live in Aberdeen (though I actually live just south of there).
Let the countdown begin: 15 days until I leave work, 40 days until I go back to uni!
