Racism in America.

I believe that a majority of white Americans cannot accept the fact that a afro American has been elected president even now. Nothing is more convincing than when a group of young school children sang a song about the President caused such a controversy with the parents, that a group of people protested outside the school saying the song was inappropriate. What was ashame all protesters were white. What kind of example are these people setting with the school children?
Racism hides behind politics and religion...raring its ugly head when you least expect it. It seems to me whatever the President does will be more scrutinized than if he was a white President. I was even shocked by the views of my friends and co-workers on their negative views towards the President. I see now that racist views is like a cancer that can spread and reek havoc on our society.... I worry that racist views are past down through generations of families...affecting even the most innocent of children. How and where can it be stopped?
I know many of my fellow Americans will disagree with my point of view and I respect that. I call it as I see it and in these trying times I cannot believe what I am seeing.
