It seems like yahoo.com somehow is blocking Peregrine

Thanks for the mention!

Now that the Opera 10 Alpha is out, it's time to write to the BOM *again* (third time lucky, maybe?) and see if they'll finally do something.

BTW, the Yahoo blocking is entirely server-side. There's no Javascript involved at all. That makes it simple to work around (site-specific "Mask as...").

PS. I like your cat photos! :cat:

A brilliant idea just hit me: Implement a "Mask as Opera 9" option

This entire browser-sniffing business is depressing :frown:

I'm seeing this a lot through forums, websites, etc.
Hotmail has the same behavior.

We should name this bug. Like "Opera's Millenium bug" for example. Or perhaps "Opera's two digit version bug".

Why "opera's"? It'll hit IE, once they get IE10 out, too (most probably). But I like the sound of "two-digit version bug".

Some websites spoofing mechanism is considering Opera 10 as Opera 1.0.
Another example is Bank Of America.

Since it's impossible to tell all developers to fix their code on Opera, I guess Opera Software must found a way into this mess, and clear things up.
