What Christmas is..

When we were children we were grateful to those who filled our stockings at Christmas time. Why are we not grateful to God for filling our stockings with legs?
Christmas is a necessity. There has to be at least one day of the year to remind us that we're here for something else besides ourselves.
Christmas is not an eternal event at all, but a piece of one's home that one carries in one's heart.

Saludos desde New York.
I stumbled upon your page while looking for "El Chinche" Fotos... hehe.... I felt a little bit Nostalgic and started looking up stuff about Colombia.
So, what made me write? I'm not sure, I noticed you live all the way in Oslo, and how far away from your people "colombians" you are. And how much more you must miss colombia than me and the people who live in New York. Here, we say, "oh, I wanna go to Colombia" "I miss Colombia" yet, there is quite a large Colombian Community in New York. What I mean is that it now sounds unfair for me to say I miss Colombia because there are so many things about Colombia Here, we have panaderias, restaurants, "Gaseosas" Postobon and many other things get imported. Then I think you probably dont have much of anything there that reminds you of it....... I hope that made scence.
The other reason I wrote, is that I think your job is really cool. I see you had the opportunity to go to La Javeriana, if I remember right that's one, if not the best Universities in Colombia, right?..... that's great.
Anyway, I'm in the IT field as well, Proffessionally I'm nore on the Networking side, but on my free time I do Graphic Design and recently I started teaching my self Web Development.
I'll be honest I've heard of Opera but have never played with it. Is it only for Unix? I'll find out.
Bueno, hopefully you'll read this in a couple of days and have a little laugh, I thought it would be kinda cool to reach out to another Colombian on the other side of the planet.....
