Supplementation.
"janai" = "dewa arimasen".
"dewa arimasen" is a more beautiful expression than "janai".
You should use "dewa arimasen" in Japan.
I think that Japanese teacher teaches you the expression of "dewa arimasen".

I think you should add to this entry that " desu "= da. To the question which ask about something, the answer must be ended by " ga".
And I think you should add to this entry the tense to introduce somebody, about jobs too. It's the basic of greeting, right?
Anyway, your blog is very interesting and I hope we can exchange the way to study and teaching Japanese. I love Japan much!
