Vaio Z590 VS Dell Latitude E6400

, ,

Well I'm going to buy my new laptop and been digging the internet and stores for quiet a while. Here is what resulted from my searches disscusions at different websites like notbookreview.com and many others.

First I want somthing light enough so I can take it to university everyday. Second I want it to be priced around $2000-$2500(which I didn't make it, at least not till now. Then It should live up to my expectations specwise.( I expect really high, almost the lastes:devil: ) and finaly not alot of common complaints in comments:no: on the websites.

At first sony Vaio was the only condidate of being bought so I was looking into sonystyle for a while and wanted to choose a 13.3inch screen and ended up with the new series of SZ( which I bought for my sister) and ended up with low spec( specially CPU and graphic card(no Nvidia)) though the price was really nice, around $1600 that could have helped my buy my accecories a lot easier. So I ran to another option which was Vaio Z series that is the first 13.1inch Vaio.

Generally Z is all about high performance portable laptop az the 1.5Kg weight and high specs show. But the only problem was $$. So I was going with the idea of getting a Z( at first Z570 with $2500), and a week before buying I kinda forced myself to lower the price and go for a dell. One of my friend always talks about his dell and how strong it is!!( Like a brick:D ).

So next phase was looking into dell notebooks in order to kill the Vaio price. I couldn't find any 13inch dell interesiting in spec so I ran to 14.1inch new latitude E familiy and specificly E6400 that is about $1920 here.

Now a litte about E6400. The two major drabacks of this notebooks is the weight(2.5kg) and the Display( nothing matches a vaio display). another cons to mention were some common software problems, multiple part replacements and mid screen resolution. Of course it still had the lower price and the minimum required spec but somthing else making me far from getting it was style so I turned Back again to Vaio Z.

Now that I'm going to get the Vaio I seen there is Z590 right at the market and all the specs that I want( perfect for a laptop). And the price tag is really nice too, $2640.:yikes:

After all this I am still sticking to the Z590 and will get it in less than a week.( I will write about it then). Take a looke at the specification for the Z590 and E6400:
