今天搜来了<When you say nothing at all>的原唱者Allison Krauss。
All that is known about Rurutia are the statistics of her current rising career. In 2001, on a deal with Toshiba-EMI, she released her first single Itoshigo yo on October 6th. The single did fairly well due to a music video, and was followed soon after with Lost Butterfly, which would become her best-selling single. With two hit songs under her belt, Rurutia launched her first album R° on March 6th, 2002.
Even with only two released singles from the album, R° did extremely well in the Japanese music market. Rurutia quickly released her third single, Yuruginai Utsukushii Mono on June 26th, a beautiful and dramatic song that became an instant hit. Three months after this, she released Shujaku no Sora, a more rock oriented song for her style. Featured on the CD single was a short film directed and written by Rurutia, adding even more talents to her resume. In January 2003, Rurutia released Shine, which was soon followed by her second full length album, Water Forest.
Ten months after the release of Water Forest, a long wait for many Rurutia followers, the single Toroimerai hit the market with two stunning songs. The song "Tsuki Senicha" breaks through most Jpop barriers, creating a trademark sound that is hard to immitate and easily recognizable. Toroimerai is the only single from Water Forest, and disappeared rapidly from music stores across Japan.
After a ten month wait, Rurutia released a new single, Primary, followed closely by her next album, Meme. The album saw less success than previous albums, but still sold generally well.
With the help of arranger Taka Satoh, Rurutia and Satoh collaborate on Umezu Kazou Gekijou Rurutia Tracks, a musical soundtrack for a Japanese short horror film, featuring Rurutia songs redone and remixed.
In mid 2005, Rurutia made the decision to leave Toshiba-EMI for a lesser known record company, Phoenix Records, due to creative differences and lack of control. Her first single on the new label, Spinel, was released November 11th, 2005, to an anxious fanbase.
Rurutia maintains her mystery by doing no TV interviews, photoshoots (except for albums), and limited music videos. This intrigues her fans and keep people guessing for what is coming next.

Lisa Loeb had only one big hit and it was with her first single "Stay (I Missed You)" — a tune that took her from obscurity to minor celebrity when it was included on the soundtrack of Reality Bites. Although she never had another smash hit, "Stay" was hardly the end of her career: she continued to release records every few years, racking up five additional chartings singles that usually appeared in the lower reaches of Billboard's Hot 100, and a bit higher on their Adult Top 40 charts: 1995's "Do You Sleep?," 1996's "Waiting for Wednesday," 1997's "I Do," 1998's "Let's Forget About It," and 2002's "Underdog." All six of those charting singles, along with album tracks and significant soundtrack contributions (like "How," which wound up on both the Twister soundtrack, where it was originally intended, and on Jack Frost the Michael Keaton classic about a jazz musician who is reincarnated as a giant talking snowman so he can set things right with his son), on 2006's The Very Best of Lisa Loeb, which also includes the brand new "Single Me Out," the theme song from her '06 reality show #1 Single. While Loeb never strayed very far from the sweet, gentle template she laid down with "Stay (I Missed You)," she always was friendly, melodic, and rather ingratiating. These qualities are better heard on The Very Best of Lisa Loeb than on her proper albums, which can tend to be a little samey and sugary. Those tendencies aren't completely absent here, but distilled to her best songs, Loeb is an endearing folk-pop singer/songwriter, as this enjoyable collection proves.
