KDE 4.3 will come out soon, and the Frisian translation will be in it.
De last problem has been over won and kdebase is at 75%.
Let's all hope that with kde 4.4 there wil be less problems.

This week there has been an update for the Frisian spell-check for Opera office.
This is the first of I hope many updates to create a better spell-check dictionary.
What very nice to see is that the first version was downloaded 1733 times and that the new version
is already downloaded 147 times in to days time.
So you can see that Frisian lives.
People who have lists of words that they want to include can of-course send it to me.

It has been a long time, and there didn't happen much with the Frisian KDE.
I will try to get it on the road again for the 4.3 version.
It's not going to be easy but the first begin is already happening.
Also there is some work going on for a better spelling checker.
The first plan was to use the list from the Fryske Akademy, but this can lead to revoking of the list for Firefox and that can`t be the right way..

It's been a long time sins there has been any news about the Frisian KDE, en because there has been so little news it can't be good.
Translating KDE has been halted for some time, which is the main reason why there is with KDE4.2 no Frisian available.
I am happy to report that translation has begon again, en I hope that the Frisian KDE will come back on track, to make a difference again.
