The poll is in the dutch language.

suport, openoffice, frisian
The textwriter Writer of OpenOffice.org has the ability to guess the language of the text that has been written en adjust it's spelchecker to that. Along side that there have been some preparation for support for the Frisian language.(translated from
dutch article)
Great news for all of who where trying to use the Frisian spellchecker (aspell) in openoffice and could install it because windows had problems with it.
I myself hadn't had that problem cause I downloaded the patch from Microsoft so my windows system new what Frisian was, cause it seems like a lot of programs had forgotten the Frisian language support, while they claimed to support the whole iso language range, not supporting means that it just not understands and will not start.
Paindotnet is one of the programs that have problems with that.
Have a nice day

wordperfect, OpenDocument, openoffice
I just got the news that Corel is going to support near the summer OpenDocument in wordperfect.
Oké they also going to support openXML from Microsoft but a program must be flexible so it's logic.
I think that this is great for the Open source community and ofcourse for Openoffice.
This can be very good for the market as it's makes switching and exchanging
documents a lot easier.
An Company can know really choose a different program then Word.
With greetings Berend Ytsma
(Wordperfect is still an great program)
