No ik tink dat wy hjirre in feest hawwe.
De Opera mienskip hat no mear as 500.000 leden.
Wannear bin ik der by kaam?
It wie yn de winter fan des 2004,
doe't ik opsyk wie nei in nei oersetprojekt en
telâne kaam by Opera.
Ik haw it besocht en waard direkt lid.
En litte ik earlik wêze Opera wie daliks libjend en brûkber
It surven wie(en is) fantastysk fanôf it earste momint.
En it boerd(OC) joech my antwurden op fragen dy't Opera my joech.
Tanke Opera foar dizze fantastyske mienskip.

opera community, opera
Well it looks like we have a party over here.
The Opera community reached the 500.000 member mark.
Where did I step in?
Well it was a nice winter in dec 2004
as I was searching for a new translation project I came across Opera.
tried it out an became a member.
Well let's face it Opera was direct alive and usable.
Surfing was(and is) great from the first moment.
And the board gave my answers to the questions Opera gave me.
Thanks Opera for this great community.

Every time I download a weekly Iam surprised how many bug have disappeared again.
Of course The People of Opera can't make them all disappear in a week, but the builds are getting better every time.
I tent sometimes to yell against people when the find a bug that they don't want.
"Why is did not fixed" they say "It should"
Sometimes Opera didn't even now that there was a problem cause it was not filed in as a bug.
(maybe Opera can learn how to mindread:idea: )
No for real, Opera does it's very best to make Opera9 the best build ever.
I have never seen pre-Beta builds that are so stable and workable.
This is a greet hooraaaaah:hat: for Opera.
The people of Opera have allot of patience with people and are just trying to point out the right way, just trying to find out what the problems are.
When you say “it doesn’t work” you are not helping them
When you say “this build sucks” you are not helping them
When you say “It’s crashing all the time” you are not helping them
No, tell in detail what has happened what you did, what you think went wrong.
How it should work.
And when you file a bug, please remember the bug number, write it down, put in the notes.
If you make their lives easier they do the same to you
With thanks
Berend Ytsma
(I didn’t yell)

opera community
Yes today it's the time that I am one year with the Opera Community.
I must say "It's been a pleasure to be here"
I've learned a lot and even could give some advice back.
In 2006 this community will bring joy to the world when Opera9 comes out.
This community will grow to the biggest community of the world supporting millions of people.
This community will bring peace to the world.
(well maybe I think to big but why not)
Greetings Berend Ytsma

Yes it's been awhile sins I wrote something in the English language.
But it's time again.
Opera is improving every day every minute of my time.
Seeing is improving I say.
Today the Community has improved by with a notice on each topic.
Today I heard that live.com is working with Opera9.
What will it be tomorrow?
Opera likes fans and is listening to them

It's great to be part of the fans part of Opera
